The members are in perfect condition after the event, thanks to intensive medical support and on-field caring.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;However, not all sportsmen have the access to such support.  There're several common conditions after sternuous exercise like the Trailwalker and distant running;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Shin splint&lt;/span&gt; - it's the pain and spasm over your shin bone.  Shin splint is very common among distant runners, yet it's difficult to be diagnosed and treated.  In time and appropriate treatment would be crucial to overall prognosis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Injury to structures of foot and ankle&lt;/span&gt; - like plantar fasciitis, stress fracture, sprain ankle and overused tendo Achilles (the cord on the back of ankle) leading to foot and ankle pain.  Most injuries response well to physiotherapy and exercise therapy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Injury to structures of hip and knee&lt;/span&gt; - infrapatellar fat pad syndrome (below the knee cap), ITB syndrome (side of thigh), and other more serious meniscal and ligamentum injuries. Some of our clients are going to take part in Oxfam Trail-walkers and other running and trail events.  We wish them all the successes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;I do not run or participate in any such kind of event; yet, I'm a serious medic for those event.  There're several condition that could put them to rest or even end up early "retirement".  Luckily most of such problems are preventable with proper measures. Therapists need to make accurate diagnosis, deliver suitable treatment modalities, and finally evaluate the effectiveness through objective outcome measurement.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;The idea Evidence-based Practice (EBP) has evolved for decades.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;Apart from accurate diagnositic, treatment and evaluation procedures, a EBP therapists should make ALL clinical decisions supported with clinical research. However complicated the reasoning process is, I believe EBP should be the safest and most effective clinical reasoning model, &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;font-family:verdana;" &gt;the Ideology of Clinical Reasoning&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;. /&gt;很多病人一聽到骨刺這個名詞每每聞之色變，如果X光報告上知道自己身體內有骨刺長出，更加會覺得自己得了一個麻煩的毛病，更有悲觀者認為是不治之症，因為在他們心目中，就算是做手術也不能根治骨刺的。&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;我 在這裡不是要介紹什麼可以根治骨刺的療法，只是想提醒讀者們骨刺未必是引致你本身痛症的主因。骨刺其實是人類老化過程中其中一個產物，大部份人過了中年 The question is weird enough; yet, being a modern bipedal primate, we've lost our fine skills in &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;"Standing Right"&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:verdana;"&gt;We wear cushioned shoes, we don't walk. We've lost most of the small muscles and propioception under our feet, and our feet shrink. There might be leg length discrepancy, torsion of knee joint and many other conditions leading to &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;"Standing Wrong"&lt;/span&gt;, too. And occassionally we use these equipment together with the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: verdana;" href="http://www.fitter1.com/assets/pro_fitter_chart.pdf"&gt;Pro-Fitter&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt; to get better result.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;By the way, I'd like to point out that it's the form and content of the exercise that MATTER, not of any sophisticated equipment.  The priniciple is real Basic and fundemental - do the right exercise in the right time and right form. Making use of the Pro-Fitter we can build Core-Stability, improve Sense of Balance and enhance many other performance.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; &lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;One interesting thing of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: verdana;" href="http://www.fitter1.com/assets/pro_fitter_chart.pdf"&gt;Pro-Fitter&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt; is that it's excellent for client with ACL injuries and other forms of knee problem.
