End of Events - Beginning of Rehab

Our Team finished the Trailwalker in 23 hours. The members are in perfect condition after the event, thanks to intensive medical support and on-field caring.

However, not all sportsmen have the access to such support. There're several common conditions after sternuous exercise like the Trailwalker and distant running;

Shin splint - it's the pain and spasm over your shin bone. Shin splint is very common among distant runners, yet it's difficult to be diagnosed and treated. In time and appropriate treatment would be crucial to overall prognosis.

Injury to structures of foot and ankle - like plantar fasciitis, stress fracture, sprain ankle and overused tendo Achilles (the cord on the back of ankle) leading to foot and ankle pain. Most injuries response well to physiotherapy and exercise therapy.

Injury to structures of hip and knee - infrapatellar fat pad syndrome (below the knee cap), ITB syndrome (side of thigh), and other more serious meniscal and ligamentum injuries. Most injuries response well to physiotherapy and exercise therapy, yet further operation might be indication in more serious condition.

The treatment should help you return to sports as soon as possible.
